We were on the phone for a while just talking about all the things that the college has to offer. There wasn’t a lot of talking about basketball, we were talking a lot about the campus and the school. I’ve also talked with Coach Mamadou N’Diaye."
Academics will play a role in James' decision. His mom is a physician. His brother plays for UNF and when he arrived there he already had an AA because he took classes at a Community College while still in high school.
James already has 16 offers including Alabama, Florida, Georgetown, Mississippi State and Virginia Tech. The associate head coach at Virginia visited James and his mother at WHSS today.
I interviewed James for an upcoming article for a different site and his coach told me that CJD came to WHHS on Sept. 9, the first day of the recruiting period. CJD is the third member of the Knights staff to have any type of contact with James.
