ORLANDO (UCFKnights.com) –UCF head coach Johnny Dawkins announced the addition of three student-athletes to the UCF basketball program on Thursday, as Tony Johnson Jr., Avery Diggs and Moses Bol all signed on to join the Knights for the 2019-20 season.
Johnson, an incoming freshman out of Eufaula, Ala., is coming off of a stellar year at The Skill Factory in Atlanta. The 6-foot-3 point guard averaged 20.4 points, 5.2 rebounds and 4.3 assists per game in 2018-19.
“We’re very excited about bringing Tony on board,” Dawkins said. “He’s a hard-worker and a gym rat, and he has the potential to develop into a leader for us. He’s physically ready to come in and contribute right away. We’re looking forward to getting Tony on campus.”
