UCF says it will make coaches' contracts public soon.

What do people think is in it? We all know the basics. If we do get to see it there aren't going to be any conspiracy bombshells .It's not like there is a super-secret clause only revealed under infrared light on the 3rd thursday of every 4th month following a leap year (or whatever ridiculous conspiracy theory people want to make up). He doesn't have to at this point so if he doesn't want to, so be it. It's his choice. All the other coaches in the state didn't have the choice because legal language was included in it stipulating that the contract would be made public upon signing it (or whatever legal wording was used). O'Leary didn't write the contract himself. It was negotiated and he signed it after both sides performed there due diligence (a.k.a lawyers).

I think this is a link to his contract starting in 2006...must have changed or been updated?: http://archive.floridatoday.com/assets/pdf/A91677771210.PDF

Rumor is Key has $700,000 buyout.

Daniels and Bianchi thinks it's normal and don't understand why people would care. Uh, for an assistant at a G5...totally not normal sop.

$700,000 buyout for a freaking assistant? Don't they usually only get 1 year contracts? We paid Kruzcek $125,000 as the interim head coach back in the day.

No wonder we have no funds for stadium improvements.

They do....and Key probably does too. It's $700k if the HC job comes open and he doesn't get it.
