Given we beat the Gators, something we wanted a shot at for a long time, you would think we would have more t-shirts and memorabilia out with the score on it. Other than the few I seen on Ebay anybody know of any sites you can get a score of the game on a shirt or any kind of picture framed items? UCF bookstore I haven't seen much. I work around too many gator fans and need new gear they would enjoy.

I want a framed picture of O’keefe throwing up the peace sign with the gator lying on the ground in the background.

I took the two fingers up as a tribute to Otis (No. 2), not as a peace sign (though as I recall that's what the announcers said it was).

Cool picture either way.

True champions behave like they've been there / done that before.
My UF alum buddy said the same thing after I sent him a short, innocent email stating the final score.

If the shoe were on the other foot, we'd still be hearing about the score from them. I say F it, cause I'm gonna continue to shove it up their asses for a bit longer.

Well A) This is a first for us, B) This is against one of the most obnoxious teams in college football...Miami, ND, Texas being close 2nds, C) who cares what FL thinks, and most importantly D)....👇

Name 1 player who enters the end zone, gives the ref the ball and quietly goes back to the sideline 100% of the time. Your phrase is from the 1980s and was the last time it was applied.

PS, I agree with Chuck Knox and hate the celebrations, but again name 1 player. that time has passed decades ago.

edit: by the way, we haven't done it before. Why can't we celebrate? Did you see the way the gators celebrated beating Louisiana Lafayette, back when they had that name and were terrible, on a last second TD?

And yet again, name 1 champion who doesn't celebrate? Just 1. I doubt Alabama, NY Yankees (back when they were something) etc. etc. ever just quietly walked off they field/court etc without celebrating ecstatically. 'Higher standard' has never, ever been met. Not once. I can see the Alabama meeting room when they were declared #1 after beating Georgia earlier this year, I bet you could hear a pin drop, not one person said a thing other than 'of course.' Didn't watch, but I bet Georgia just calmly walked off the field after the win for the NC. (may sound like I'm berating you, but actually am berating myself for agreeing with the 'act like you've been here before'.)

Eff the Gators....Just another win. Don't stoop to their dumba$$ pin-head level. I'm elated we may be able to win some one-on-one w/some of their recruits but they will continue to win the 4 to 5 star players over us. I trust in Gus...On to next year.

Former UCF player Aaron Evans designed this killer shirt and sells them in his Etsy shop.

We haven't beat UF before. Also It's an awesome thing to have especially around Gator work associates.

I prefer not to use UF as the benchmark for comparison, pick a higher bar, or set the bar. Win with class. Don't act like a little brother finally winning and rubbing it in wearing homemade Gasparilla win shirts. Cheesy. Take care of business and move on. S'all I'm saying.

I grew up in the 80's in Miami in a Hurricane household (father went there). There was this little apparel store I remember going to in Coral Gables near the UM campus and their thing was these gameday and rivalry t-shirts. At least that's what I recall. So many t-shirts shit-talking the 'Noles or Notre Dame, I think even the Gators. That fit the UM attitude though, and I don't know if that fits us well. I don't mind the gameday stuff to celebrate wins, I just think we need better gear overall.

Have to agree. "Act like you've been there/take the higher ground" are principles that don't apply to sports in this day in age. If we "acted like we've been there" after the peach bowl and didn't brag and make the whole National Champion claim, we wouldn't have nearly got the amount of publicity we received. Say what you want about that claim, but I think it helped get the UCF name/brand out there, and I'd argue further that helped push our B12 spot. Much better than playing the "Goodie Two Shoes" role that never brags, celebrate, etc., and they end up being another Boise. That's not fair to Boise since they have other issues, and even though I am a big fan of them, I think they needed to brag more/try to make a stir back in their prime.
