UCF vs Memphis should show UCF isn't a big dog yet

We got a refreshing break for a while because our typical troll fan bases have been mired in the pit of misery......It was inevitable that the trolls would start showing back up eventually, after they got tired of commiserating how bad they suck.....I am guessing that their pity party got too boring

The hype up for this game is what really should tell people that UCF does not match up with the other teams that are shooting for the CFP. Think about all the talk this week over how this is a BIG test for UCF this season. They are playing Memphis. If it were Bama, Ohio St, Texas, Oklahoma, Florida, LSU, Clemson, Notre Dame, or any of the other names out there playing Memphis, this MIGHT be labeled as a "Trap Game", but far from a big test. If UCF wants to be compared to the other contenders, then they can't have their FIRST test be in week 7, and it can't be a team like Memphis.

Love the double standard you have. Memphis, the ONLY team UCF has played with a winning record, destroying UCF in the first half. I am a Gator, I don't believe the Gators are good enough for CFP right now, I am surprised at how well they've done this season. Unlike UCF fans, I am realistic about my team. You literally survived by the skin of your teeth against a very mediocre team. At least Florida and Ohio St. came back and won by double digits in their games last week.

And to the idiots who thought I couldn't get into UCF, I didn't even apply cause I never needed that deep a safety school. I mean, why are you even bragging about a school that has more than 70% of it's students needing to stay more than 4 years to graduate?

Thanks for bumping an old thread and outing yourself as a gator fan. I don’t have a double standard. Just want the same standard applied. Winning road conference games is difficult as the gators saw last week. If UCF doesn’t blow out teams they get badmouthed, but teams like Notre Dame, Clemson, and Texas don’t have the same standard applied. The double standard is when comparing UCF to the “named brands” who always get the benefit of the doubt.

I could still though make an argument for Florida being better than UCF based on how UCF has one okay win over Memphis, the rest of their opponents have losing records. Florida has better wins. Yes, they would need to face off to be sure, but I'm tired of UCF acting like they have the same strength of schedule when the best team they've played is about to be 4-4 on the season after a beating from Mizzou.
