UCF men’s basketball returns to CFE Arena on Saturday at noon, tipping off against Temple. The Knights are coming off a win at Tulane while the Owls are on a two-game winning streak, which is anchored by an overtime win over Tulsa.
Prior to the inaugural season of The American, UCF and Temple had not met previously. Since the start of the conference, the two league foes have met five times with the Owls leading the all-time series at 3-2.
A.J. Davis has led the Knights this season, averaging 13.1 points and 6.1 rebounds. He is the only player in The American averaging at least 13 points, six rebounds and three assists.
Justin McBride has been big for UCF since entering conference play, scoring 10.7 points per game and grabbing 6.7 boards per clip.
