UCF vs Tulane game moved to Nov 5th

Well that's too bad. That makes both this game and Cincy less "winable" in my opinion. It would have been better to take Tulane on before they get their passing game perfected, and it would have been nice to have 2 weeks to prepare for Cincy, the 1 out of 3 tough AAC games I thought we'd have a chance in. Tulane's probably still a win, since we might get our passing game running smoothly by then, and I guess maybe you can depend on Cincy's end of the year flop.

Cincy isn't that great. They barely beat Miami....what for it.....Ohio

MM should be 100% for Temple now. So that game is more winnable.

Haven't heard about Hill or the OLineman that left the game in the 4th. Had a lot of injuries in that ECU game. An extra week is good.

Plus an extra week to fight that insane targeting call.

I'm wondering if it's worth playing FIU anymore. I think they went low with some dirty hits during the 2015 game as well then this season with Milton and Hamilton

Credit the Big Ten (didn't think I'd be saying that this year) for owning a targeting call mistake in the Penn State at Michigan game.

Targeting occurs when a player takes aim at an opponent, whether the crown of the helmet is used to make forcible contact to the head or neck area of a defenseless opponent, or whether there is forcible contact to the head or neck area of a defenseless opponent that goes beyond making a legal tackle, a legal block, or playing the ball. In this particular play, the defender was making a legitimate attempt to get to the ball and, upon full review, the call of Targeting should have been reversed by the Replay Official.

Where is the admission of a mistake from the American?

Damn, now I will have to endure another week of Justin Holman bashing and anti-GOL posts. Oh wait, that happens whether we win, lose or have a bye. Nevermind.

Can we fight the call? Has anyone ever successfully had one overturned?

Big deal a little rain and wind.
Remember the ice bowl in Texas recently? Zero in attendance. They hadn't even cleared the snow off the bleachers. Snow all around the field. Temp was 25 degrees. Still can't believe that game got played.

Supposedly there is no review process after the in-game video review. He's out for the 1st half for sure. No recourse.

"Per NCAA rule, once replay confirms the targeting and ejection of a player it cannot be appealed,"

I still want an admission from the American and an apology to Rucker specifically.
