I think more notice should be paid to the job Coach Abe has done with our Women's Basketball team. The team was in a bad place when she was hired and she's turned the whole thing around. This year the team has a very challenging OOC schedule where 6 of the teams could be in the NCAA Tournament at the end of the year. We've also gotten multiple top 100 recruits to commit.

In the class of 2021 we got the #81 player in the country in Laila Jewett. In the class of 2022 we have two top 100 players in: #46 Savannah Henderson and as of Friday #65 Amiya Evans.

Everyone from last year's NCAA team is back this year plus Jewett and a couple of transfers. Should be an exciting year!

Yeah, I was like....hmmmm?, we don't look that good. The second half was s different story! Good game though.
I had to watch from MD Now or whatever it’s called. Son hurt ankle. First half I wasn’t impressed. Son watched 2nd half with me and didn’t see us missing many shots. Was night and day.

Defense played great (as usual). They need to cut down on unforced turnovers against better teams. UVA is bad but good to get a convincing win on the road.
