UCF wins Saturday in Idaho IF...

Did a deeper dive in to turnovers, at some point Plumlee comes close to being a liability on the field.

In 14 games that Plumlee has played in, he has personally had 14 turnovers (10 ints, 4 Fumbles Loss), he had 3 more fumbles that the team didn't lose. In those same games, the opponents turned over the ball 16 times.

14 Turnovers in 14 games, four of those games he didn't play for 1 or 2 quarters.

...the team gets plenty of nutrition from tots made from Idaho taters .

Funny you should say that...

In 2006, Gus Malzahn, offensive coordinator at Arkansas, showed Facing the Giants as the team movie prior the Auburn game. My Tigers were ranked No. 2 at the time. Unranked Arkansas won 27-10: https://www.arkansasfight.com/2016/...urn-2006-arkanas-houston-nutt-darren-mcfadden The Razorback players said the movie inspired them.

So in that vein Gus needs to show "Faith Like Potatoes" on the flight over to Boise to rally the troops.

Rush effectively and hit receivers on the move in open field…..slants and crossing patterns should be our best friend.

I think we JRP use his legs a ton and we win by at least 10 points. Problem is, if JRP is having to do that so early in the season what's he going to look like 9-10 games in?

we are invisible by wearing all blue uniforms and the players paint themselves blue.

IMO, this is on the play callers…..he is what he is, you can’t have him throw over defenders in tight windows
I get that, but its not the play callers forcing the receivers to dive, or twist their bodies, or jump, or go low, to catch the ball on basic quick slants. I cant coach a better game no chance. But the ball is just so inaccurate many times and our receivers are just so good they make up for it and adjusting their bodies.

Predictions are all over the place.

I think a lot of people are underestimating how good Penix Jr. is and think every QB will have a field day with Boise State. Penix threw for 4600 yards in his first season with Washington, 357 yards/game. He may top 5k this year.

I don’t know anyone underestimating Penix. Dude will be a 1st round draft pick.

True. Penix could throw for 300 yards on any team in the FB. How many times has JRP thrown for 300 yards since pee wee?

(JRP threw for 300 twice in high school and four times in college against South Carolina State, Florida Atlantic, SMU, and Temple, )

Penix got hurt every year at Indiana. 3 years in a row. Let’s see if he can remain healthy for rest of career. I’m betting he doesn’t. Last year was great but 1 year is not a trend.
