Only exhibition game of the season.
Women open up at home next Tues vs Iona and then a HUGE game vs Marquette on Thursday night.
Most new players this year...lots of size....more strength. True Freshmen Emely Rodriguez from the DR is a beast (had at least 26 pts).
Gusters is a BIG Center and is well traveled. Baylor to LSU to Oklahoma State to UCF as a Grad. Probably had 13 or 14 pts.
Stedman from Miami played well...and even the new French Player, Castagne, while I don't think she scored...had great presence at the point and played a tenacious D on the full court press that lead to turnovers and buckets.
EWU was smaller so UCF focus on the post game. Don't think UCF shot a high volume of 3s (maybe 20 total?).
NOTE: Last year, weeknight games were at a weird time (6 pm...hard to get to the game for some families) but this year, all those games will be at 7 pm.
