UCF's first week of spring practice brought in a who's who of top recruiting prospects for 2024 and beyond.

On Monday, the headlines focused on Bartram Trail quarterback Riley Trujillo, who became UCF's third commitment of the 2024 class shortly after attending the first practice. He was joined that day by several top players, including Rockledge linebacker D.J. McCormick, Cocoa defensive end Javion Hilson (2025), Osceola linebacker Robert-Mikal Lee (2025), Baker County athlete Davion Dean (2025) and West Broward wide receiver Joshua Moore (2025).

During the middle of the week, UCF welcomed top defensive tackle target Artavius Jones of Blountstown, four-star linebacker Brian Huff of Jonesboro (Ark.) Valley View and Osceola running back Taevion Swint (2025).

Saturday's group was full of headliners, including UCF defensive end commitment Sincere Edwards, Tampa-Catholic wide receiver Jameer Grimsley, Dr. Phillips safety Jashad Presley, Olympia safety Jalon Thompson, Hudson defensive end Elias Williams, Miami-Norland linebacker Jeremiah Marcelin, Oviedo offensive lineman Tye Hylton, Valdosta (Ga.) Lowndes offensive lineman Daniel Jones, North Palm Beach-Benjamin School offensive lineman Chase Malamala, Roswell (Ga.) Centennial cornerback Shamar Arnoux (2025), Venice wide receiver Ryan Matulevich, Lake Mary quarterback Noah Grubbs (2026), Cartersville (Ga.) offensive lineman Bear McWhorter and Bishop Moore defensive end Jake Kruel (2026).

On Sunday, UCF is expecting four-star tight end Kylan Fox of Loganville (Ga.) Grayson.

Interviews from Monday visitors Trujillo, McCormick and Hilson were already posted this past week.

I spent Saturday night connecting with as many weekend visitors as possible. I made contact with seven players and will hopefully connect with a few more on Sunday. Stay tuned in the coming days for those interviews.
