First of all, credit goes to @traveler72000 for alerting me to this earlier this morning. I was already under the impression George O'Leary would announce he is pulling out of the AD job at today's press conference. Now it's being said, by a couple sources, that it will be effective immediately. Brad Stricklin, who was now second in command, will step up to the interim AD job.
Stricklin may be considered for the permanent position. As I said last week, Hitt is hoping to have a permanent AD in place by late November.
