why does this guy continuously make stupid decisions? There is no excuse for this many bad decisions.
There was 1:30 left on the clock. You pin them back and make them drive the whole field. They also had the ball to start the 2nd half. Why give them that momentum? If we would have punted, then after we stopped them we would have probably given us the ball at the 50-40 with 50 seconds left. You have to play field position when your offense doesn't score 50 points a game.Haters gonna hate.
Coach is trying to be unpredictable... Unfortunately it failed.
What youre saying is GOL makes better decisions and we need to bring him back?Championship teams demand championship effort every play, and championship coaching at all times. We have neither but the effort on the field will get better. Crap decisions like today will cost us some big game in the future and nobody will think it's funny.
I'll have what he's having bartender.Championship teams demand championship effort every play, and championship coaching at all times. We have neither but the effort on the field will get better. Crap decisions like today will cost us some big game in the future and nobody will think it's funny.
any reasonable fan doesn't think or expect that this is a Championship level team with the amount of True Freshman playing on OffenseChampionship teams demand championship effort every play, and championship coaching at all times. I cant ever recall K_L, Mattropolis and SC ever criticizing GOLs playcalling....ever.any reasonable fan doesn't think or expect that this is a Championship level team with the amount of True Freshman playing on Offense
just enjoy the ride, we know the last 2 opponents will be tougher
No. What I'm saying is someone needs to break down their decisions, like they do to the players and they need to "correct" things as well. His situational decision making and clock management has been poor throughout the entire season. It's not isolated. What youre saying is GOL makes better decisions and we need to bring him back?
The first thought when you mentioned this was Brady Hoke. Before he went to Oregon, UCF almost brought him in here because he wanted to be associated with this offense. Curious if his experience would improve correcting things.No. What I'm saying is someone needs to break down their decisions, like they do to the players and they need to "correct" things as well. The issues I've had all year is with the decisions to punt, not punt, fake punts. Hasn't costed us much in the long-term grand scheme of things in terms of this program's growth. Maybe 1-2 losses, but the coaching staff has made up for it in numerous other ways.No. What I'm saying is someone needs to break down their decisions, like they do to the players and they need to "correct" things as well. GOLs #1 nuthuggerThen you were not paying attention
Jealous? One word...Statue..GOLs #1 nuthugger
Jealous? One word...Statue..
K_L and mattropolis at least debate...you say nothing...but if 0-12 deserves a statue i'm glad your money was spent on it.
Lol you seemed like a reasonable nuthugger to spar with.Oh yes because the statement "GOL's #1 Nuthugger" just speaks volumes of bullet points for debate...![]()

Sway? Who asked you to sway? Lately youre just mailing it in.No whiner has convinced me otherwise or put forth any argument to sway me.

Lighten up lol. You're one of the better posters here even when we disagree...imo.That is all that is necessary at this point..
A "money ball" approach to football does in fact show that punts are overrated and onside kicks underrated. There's a high school coach that succeeds while never punting! http://fivethirtyeight.com/features/the-high-school-football-coach-who-never-punts/I'm waiting for our team to get rid of punting and extra points. 2 plays which concede that we can't do better. Only chickens take no risks![]()
