We already knew 2021 was looking like the worst ever. UCF signed a total of 20 players between high school and JUCO.
Here's the status on the 20... three players played significantly or at least appear to have a prominent future. Seven players either didn't play (one injured) or redshirted. And 10 are already gone, many of whom didn't even make it to the season. There have been three postseason portal entries (Titus, Kaedin, Browder).
QB Mikey Keene - earned backup job before elevated to starter after DG got injured
DB Brandon Adams - played significantly at corner, started six games
S William Wells - played as a reserve, though coaches limited him to four games played to maintain redshirt
WR Jaylon Griffin - minimal contributor (one catch the entire season)
DB Trevion Shadrick-Harris - Played special teams in one game
DE Malachi Lawrence - suffered season-ending injury in preseason
OL Ethan Mort - redshirted
DT Matthew Alexander - redshirted
RB Anthony Williams - redshirted
LB Cole Joyce - redshirted
WR Titus Mokiao-Atimalala - Postseason Portal
WR Kaedin Robinson - Postseason Portal
TE Charlie Browder - Postseason Portal
