One coach said he was under the impression everyone was let go (he definitely was).
Another coach said he was let go, but wasn't sure about everybody else. He said meetings were still happening. This was about an hour ago.
Another coach responded back with something I won't go into detail about but gave the impression that it either was incorrect information or he hadn't personally met with Frost. Have not heard back from this coach.
So until I'm 100 percent, I really can't confirm that "everyone" is being let go. One coach did indicate support staff (including grad assistants, quality control and interns) meet with Frost tomorrow.
Shortly after I made this post, Beckton tweeted:
Later I received this statement from UCF:
"Reports that Coach Frost isn’t going to retain any of the assistant coaches at UCF are false. He doesn’t believe it would be wise to completely abandon UCF tradition and some of the people who have helped make this a special place.
"The process of putting a coaching staff in place is in motion, and decisions will be made in regards to each position. It is his wish that enough people are kept in place from this staff to maintain consistency, as well as to continue developing relationships to build a bridge from the past to the future."
