US airline industry is in turmoil

I have a buddy that went to Punta Cana last week. They were supposed to fly home on Monday, and finally got there at 1 am on Thursday. Every flight they were scheduled/rescheduled for was either canceled or delayed, and that includes 4 airports and 2 airlines. Plus their bags got left in Baltimore for another 2 days.

I flew to Dallas and New York in the last two weeks. No problems whatsoever, on time, couldn’t have been better.

He flew Southwest and Delta. Delta was better, but they were still delayed in St Louis.
