Just saw the story that 3 off duty Marines were on a train from Amsterdam to Paris, heard a guy loading an AK in the bathroom, and took him down before he blew people away. The guy was identified as a Moroccan national attempting to carry out Jihad and kill a bunch of westerners.

Those people better thank God that our Marines were within ear shot of this asshole. otherwisie we'd be reading of tons of dead people right now.

Europe has a massive Islamic terrorism issue. And I'm doing 4 train trips next month....

I bet the Marines profiled him before he went in the bathroom. What racists.

What an awful terrorist. He should have been locked and loaded.

World police to the rescue. Again. This is why the world should kiss our ass.

News said 3 Americans. One civilian. One Air Force. One National Guard.

Just saying.....

Unfortunately stopping a mass slaughter doesn't have the same media impact as actually having a mass slaughter. This story will be forgotten in a few days and the French will keep importing deranged (all)Muslims.

"muzzle thumping" quote from one of the heroes. Should be sung to the tune Tubthumping. Click on some of the other articles to get these interesting bits- "... staff left passengers to fend for themselves, French actor Jean-Hugues Anglade said.

Talking to a French magazine, the film star – who was on board the Thalys service from Amsterdam to Paris – said: "Suddenly, members of the cabin crew ran down the hall, back bent.

"Their faces were pale. They heading for the driving, their working car. They opened with a special key, and then locked themselves inside..."
Good thing Europeans are so scared of private ownership of guns, since the staff will always be there to protect you.

and -the terrorist "was just telling us to give back his gun. 'Give me back my gun! Give me back my gun!' But we just carried on beating him up and immobilised him and that was it."

In defense of the French, allegedly there was a French (or French-American?) who was involved, but did not want to be treated as a hero. If I heard correctly, all three Americans credited him with being very key in the whole situation, and I believe he was shot as well.

I'm the first American who is ready to criticize the French government and their policies, which date all the way back to our Revolution (e.g., the 1781 Franco-Spanish proposal that the Americas become a French colony). But it's always been the few, key, brave Frenchmen and women who have helped the US.
