Considering that UCF has been dealing with sanctions and USF actually played in the basketball powerhouse that was the Big East for a while, that program should be a decade ahead of UCF at this point. Instead, USF's season is already described as "lost" by their hometown papers. Let's bury them.
these lopsided records are bc UCF at one point in the past was content on being like UNF in regards to revenue sports(not caring)

Maybe during Sloan years, but not since. We played in a conference with jacksonville, fau, troy, etc. We couldn't even attract our current players with that. USF enjoy playing in good hoops leagues.
That said....pound them!!! Be nice to be 4-1 even those are wins vs ecu and usf.

Dude...basketball has been USF major sport for 35 years plus while UCF was finally getting out of a garage band conf some 10 years ago.
The State of Florida built USF the 10,000 seat Sun Dome over 35 years ago...before UCF even got their tiny gym inside the Education Building.
Prior to Coach Jones at UCF, the Knights were just 5-19 against USF...but UCF is 5-3 against UCF under Coaches Jones, as he is the only UCF Coach with a winning record vs USF in multiple games.
UCF has actual won 10 games vs USF...2 wins were vacated years after they were played.
UCF is 2-1 in the 3 games played at the renovated Sun Dome, including USF's first ever game played in the renovated Sun Dome when the Knights destroyed the Cows, 74-56 in front of a large crowd (7,717) as UCF had 4 players in double figures, UCF shot 50% from the field, as Sykes lead UCF with 26 pts that night.

I like football and baseball. Basketball and soccer have way too much interference from referees. They can completely control the outcome of every game base on how they call fouls. It drives me nuts.
Great road win tonight...as AJ Davis was big...as was Shaheed Davis and McSpadden coming off the bench.

So is DJ that much better against USF (compared to previous coaches) because of coaching like you are insinuating, or is it because the other coaches were only able to recruit "garage band" athletes against a USF team that has been in better conferences and therefore likely recruited better talent?
Various things...
1) USF stinks right now. They were tough back in the day.
2) Old days we recruited ASUN level players
3) I do think Donnie is an upgrade. He beat Miami 2x and Florida once. We never beat these teams in the past.

Even a blind guy can see that UCF has the upper hand on this series in recent years...one that use to be 5-19 prior to Coach Jones...so I'm not sure why you are so angry and screaming the need to "normalize" the situation...as UCF is only scheduled to play USF just 2 times per season.
Its like you started this thread without knowing UCF's success vs USF over the last 4 years or so...but you stated you have been a big UCF Hoop fan for years...so you had to know about UCF's success vs USF lately.
