I will also say that a lot of the success you have had in conference championships the undefeated season and bowl win over Auburn is super impressive. You deserve to be proud of that. You earned it. But like everything else nothing lasts forever. And USF's time is coming real soon. Just giving you a heads up!

Hilarious that the school that blocked UCF from getting into the Big East, then canceled the series with UCF in 2008 because we were too far below them, is now crying about getting left behind by UCF and UCF not scheduling them.

Enjoy new CUSA and your games against the likes of Charlotte, Rice, North Texas and UAB. You need to be worried about getting passed by FAU now, though most would agree that they've already passed you.

USF doesn’t get enough hate for the Big East’s downfall. If we invite UCF, TCU was already joining and we would’ve gotten the deal we wanted from ESPN.

They are 200+ NET. That’s not smack talk. It’s stating the obvious. He brought up basketball and I rebutted. It has nothing to do with their coach. Basketball is more the players. They weren’t going NCAA anyway. We may. Although have to hover at .500 in Conference.

The players lost their coach right before the season began. To death. Who cares what he brought up? Be better than that.

Obviously from the title. I'm a USF alum. I come in peace not trying to start sh--. But I have to say USF is coming hard. We had a difficult season with lots of injuries. But closed with a very exciting Bowl win. Our future is bright. Yours not so sure. Very uninspiring since joining Big 12. I know the competition is tougher but you are showing no growth. And we beat your butt last year I'm the NIT basketball game in your house. We are on the rise. You are on the decline. Wish we played each other every year but your AD is scared. I know you got Frost back. But he won't duplicate your previous success....GO BULLS!!

When will you be able to win your conference?
It has turned over completely now twice with programs lower than yours not only winning it but passing you up and leaving to higher conferences. You STILL can't even compete for the Conference title. You're well below UCF and FAU will soon overshadow your poor excuse for a football program. Happy New Year cow. Won't be seeing you. 😂

Your not wrong. USF AD did the exact same thing and i never agreed with it. We are natural geographic rivals and very similar type shools. Our AD and President tuned their nose up without realizing that these 2 schools are a perfect rival. It comes naturally. You can't force a real rivalry.

That said I changed the subject title of this thread..we are not > in anyway right now. You guys have been successful and USF is building to get there. Just not there yet.....wish yall a Happy Year and wish both of our programs a better 2025 then 2024. Be safe on the roads tonight everone!

Any basketball smack talk to them should be off limits for awhile. I feel terrible for them about that.

I really appreciate your empathy. If Coach was here. He would welcome the smack talk as long as it's not personal threats. Again my point, we have to find a way to keep this rivalry going. It's too good not too.

My last post. Good luck during BB season and I look forward to when we are playing yearly. I belive it's only matter of time.

Ok not last post after all. I will admit UCF is better positioned than us right atc this moment in time.
You've earned it. But FAU? Come on dude. We kicked threir ass in football this year. And beat their returning final 4 BB team at the Sundome last year and then won the regular season championship. Do your homework first if u want to talk smack bro!

Played against USF with Lee Rose as the coach. Nice man (Sun Dome ) They had it going at the time

I don’t think some posters recall the death of the coach n got caught with the rivalry. Outside of maybe 3 posters ( 2 have entirely different agendas) this a classy board
