Vacation in Lake Tahoe

has anyone here been to Lake Tahoe?

We are staying in Tahoe City and Im curious if you all have any suggestions of must do's there.

Currently we have horseback riding, hiking, and white water rafting on the list of things we want to do.

Skiing at Squaw Valley is probably still semi enjoyable, they usually have some runs open all year long.

You know I've been thinking about that but my friend described the late season conditions as "Sierra concrete." Still thinking about doing that though

My wife and I had our honeymoon there. That was a minute ago and we were poor then. It was winter so most of it was skiing. We did drive over to San Francisco one day. Historic Folsom Prison is on the way. You learn a lot about your new bride when you find out that historic/any prison is an aphrodisiac. We did alcatraz too, so that night...

The hiking is great. If I did it now, I would just plan a night or two in Napa Valley or maybe check out Yosemite. Don't forget to get stabbed in Reno!

My first knee surgery was from spring skiing. F that.
