UCF traveled to Cincinnati today in advance of tomorrow's game at Miami University in Oxford, which is about an hour away from the CVG airport.
On Wednesday afternoon, Donnie Jones spoke to the media for about 10 minutes. Towards the end of the video, he talks a good bit about the recently-signed recruiting class.
"Another road opportunity for us, to go into another environment at Miami-Ohio, a very historic basketball venue there," Jones said. "They've had a lot of success at that place. It will be another good challenge for us going into someone else's place and taking this team to try and get a road victory. Miami has already played six games, they're 3-3 right now. They're pretty much in midseason form early on with the games they've played. It will be a great challenge for us.
"We're still fighting some injuries with B.J. and Matt. We expect to have Matt back to play, but B.J. Taylor will not play. He will not be ready to play on Saturday. We're still taking some time here to get him back healthy. He is improving which is the good news, but we have to get him back to where he can compete and feel comfortable and not set himself back."
