I'm looking for some video editing software and the most important part would be ease of use. I just need to edit video, add music, caption, etc. Any suggestions?

here ya go man... the ArtistX project based off of Unbuntu.... LOTS of tools for video/audio/visual 2D and 3D... you name it ... it's got it... dunno if 2.0 is out yet but 1.5 will do you well.. and it's free so... HAVE FUN!!!!... being a drummer and DJ it's one of my favorite distros of linux
