Video editing software

I recently got a GoPro (4 Silver) and I just wanted to know what the part-time Speilbergs in here use for making movies. I'm not trying to create the next Avatar, just put together videos of myself hooning in the Abarth or just little vacation clips. GoPro studio is nice but is too limited and Final Cut Pro is way too much for what I want to do. I've tried Filmora and Powerdirector 14 and they're both pretty nice without breaking the bank. I have a sweet PC so not worried about minimum requirements.

Any other suggestions?

Amateurs probably use Windows Movie Maker or something.

WMM doesn't exist anymore in Windows 10. At least, that's what I understand. And from what I can gather, I would lump it in with GPS: too basic.
