Villanova is playing in the FCS playoff quarterfinals now

They are an 8 seed and only lost to Albany after playing us. Albany is a 5 seed and still playing.

They are in a bracket with South Dakota State and are playing them now. That’s a tough draw, but so far their defense is holding up.

It’s interesting that FCS football is dominated by schools from the upper Midwest and the northeast.

Less or no FBS programs in those states to compete against for recruits etc has to be a factor.
