W, Virginia replaces Florida as #11

I thought the same thing, but probably in the 7-9 range. Kentucky is gone. Teams 14-17 lost, so watch for Syracuse or Miss. State to be real close or pass us.

7. LSU
8. WSU (assuming they hold off the powerhouse known as CAL)
9. Tosu
10. WVU
11.Defending Nat'l Champs

osu "should" drop to 11 with their power performance against 2-7 big red, but the idontgivea-buckeyes weren't motivated, so the eye test variable is waived this week.

At this point Ohio State has played two teams with a winning record, and lost to one of them. At this point, they should not be ranked ahead of us. We should hop them.

because, just because. Makes no sense, but the invitational never does....

Its an invitational, so it doesn't have to make sense....so OF COURSE a team that gave up 41 points will jump us......and teams that beat a bad 2-7 team giving up 31 in the process and a team shut out AT HOME will both stay ahead of us.....

The invitational is just like what all the exotic car owners told me before I bought one....if you're looking for a logical explanation why you should buy one, you won't find it.

Ohio State isn't ranked ahead of UCF in the Colley Matrix. Proving once again that they are a bias free system that rewards results not opinions. There are no quality losses in the CM. The CM didn't keep Texas A&M in the Top 25 with 3 losses (now 4) so Alabama could claim it as a ranked win. In fact the CM has Alabama rightfully ranked at #4 because of their low SOS rating. UCF is ranked #9 because of a low SOS score, which should improve with wins over #54 Temple, #23 Cincinnati, and #27 USF.

After last seasons conference games the CM would have given the four playoff spots to #1 Wisconsin, #2 Clemson, #3 UCF, and #4 Georgia. With two conference winners the CFI subjectively ignored for Alabama. My suggestion is to completely ignore the human polls, and schedule the CM's consistently top ranked G5's home and home (since the top P5's won't schedule UCF), and play for the NCAA record books just like last year. Less SC State's and more San Diego State's. IMO

What a travesty they ranked the Gators ahead of us....what a disgraceful performance from them with so much on the line. WVU probably will jump us .....we just need to keep winning because they will eventually run out of 2-3 loss teams to jump us. After watching OU/WVU/Wash St./ND/LSU/Kentucky multiple times this year there is no doubt we would curb stomp them. WVU will lose at least 1 more game to either OK State or OK so not worried about them. Assuming we win out and the rest of the teams in front of us (with the exception of Bama and Clemson) lose at least once it will be extremely interesting to see how the CFP Committee handles it. Imagine the polarizing debates then.UCF VS THE WORLD!!!
