I couldn't make the UCF-ECU game in real time so Saturday at midnight I watched the first half. We killed them and I went to bed thinking the game was over at the half. I was planning on watching the 2nd half the next morning however the reaction on FB groups and this forum lead me to believe that UCF just totally broke down in the 2nd half. Thus, I was convinced not to watch it. Until last night....
I watched every play of the 2nd half (skipping the commercials obviously)...and here to report...IT WAS NOT AS BAD AS I THOUGHT IT WAS....The game was never in doubt. ECU did come up fired up...must have been one helluva ECU Head Coach half-time speech...however, again, it wasn't as bad as everyone is claiming. A few overthrown passes by DG. However I didn't think the defense slacked off any. But, whatever. Just shows how some over-reactions by some get perpetuated. I really don't think UCF played all that bad in the 2nd half. Game was over. They were coasting. Yes, UCF still managed to score a TD when needed and made some defensive stops when needed.
