The Dungeon is voting on if they think the cooler should be nuked. I say nuke it, it's a cesspool.

Since not all of you are dungeon members please make your case one way or the other in this thread.

The only redeeming thing about the WC at this point is @Crazyhole who is really stupid but at least somewhat likeable.

I think at some point in the last 6 months I've seen most posters accused of at least 1 of the following: racism, supporting child murder, being antisemitic, supporting statutory rape, being a terrorist, being inbred, and even debating killing their own children.

It's fair to say that the WC is a cesspool and as our fate is contemplated I thought we could make a thread where posters can state their case for nuke or not nuke.

I say nuke.

I've been unfairly called some pretty terrible things in here but I understand the nature of this place and who's posting. One positive, since I put a particular jackass on ignore, it really hasn't been as bad. I truly pity the small man.

I would love for people to be more respectful in here. I know I've even been dragged down to low levels on occasion but I at least try to be nice.

And no, the WC doesn't need to be nuked. It could use some moderation, but holy crap this is a forum designated for the kind of topics that people fight over. It isn't surprising that things get heated and personalities clash. Thats pretty much the point of it.

Crazyhole and I spent 15 years arguing with each other on a politics board on another sports site. But when it actually did get nuked, I kinda missed not having the opportunity to tell that likable SOB how wrong he was on a regular basis. If we’re all brutally honest with ourselves, we are here for the posters who DON’T view things the same way we do. That fact really hits home once you realize you don’t have your Crazyhole — or your FC or Ninja — to argue with anymore because the board got nuked.

Sure it’s nice to have my opinions validated by others, but I’m here to wake up the MAGA crowd who live inside a Fox News bubble that gives them such a distorted sense of reality. Nah, politics have always been the main topic, but everyone was mostly sane about it back then. Obama was almost universally agreed to be a mediocre president, we all laughed at the absurdity when Trump came on the scene. It was great because we all mostly agreed on reality, there were minor political differences but we overcame them.
