Bruce Springsteen released Nebraska . It is one of the top records I enjoy and perhaps truly his best album. It's stark and iconic and it's just simple , a guy and his guitar with a 4 track Teac cassette deck . I was 15 and taken back by the record when it was released .
A friend of mine ,an UCF alum at that, were talking back and forth today in text
I asked it's been 40 years what song or songs on that record tend to reflect your life thus far ,if at all.
I answered Reason To Believe and My Father's House .
If you hate Bruce, I get it, if you know this record and appreciate it , cool
In high school I was a huge Springsteen fan as I aged I appreciated his albums though several in the 2000s I just didn't agree with. However, his recent album Western Stars is absolutely amazing..
