We have the best class among group of five according to ESPN

Here is a look at the best recruiting classes from Group of 5 teams:

UCF Knights

National rank: 49
ESPN 300 wide receiver and former USC commit Luke Hiers could be a multiyear starter and anchor up front. Linebacker was a big position of need, and UCF has four athletic prospects on the way.

Cincinnati Bearcats

National rank: 65
Four-star quarterback DeLonte Murray is a key get on the offensive line.

Boise State Broncos

National rank: 69
Four-star quarterback Matt Pistone is a good bet to see the field quickly.

Marshall Thundering Herd

National rank: 70
The state of Florida is key for Marshall, and the class of 2015 has good returns with three-star quarterback Reggie Rogers.

Florida Atlantic Owls

National rank: 71
Quarterback Jaye Miner has as much upside as any in the class.

South Florida Bulls

National rank: 72
Concerns along the offensive and defensive lines have been addressed by the Bulls with three-star defensive tackle Trevon Sands will likely hit the field right away.

Georgia Southern Eagles

National rank: 73
A familiar name headlines the Eagles' class, Jeremiah Theus are scheme fits.

Memphis Tigers

National rank: 74
Memphis signed a big class, highlighted by physically impressive tailback Tre Hamilton could be a nice future target at receiver.

Temple Owls

National rank: 75
Three-star cornerback Chapelle Cook is one to watch on the offensive side of the ball.

Well, if those ESPN rankings mean much (and I don't think they do in the grand scheme of things), then 49th out of over 100 FBS schools is above average. That would make us more than a midget. If this was Middle Earth, maybe we'd be Dwarves or Elves.

49th out of 128 or 130 FBS schools and how many P5 schools were we ahead of?
Wish we could have got some more height at LB though and higher rated O-lineman other than Hiers. Have to develop what we already have. That's the key to this season.

If those players develop there's no excuse for losing to a P5 team with a worse class. We have more talent than some on this board can admit. Its on the coaches now.
