we got some good years, won some championships and became relevant. It felt especially good for us fans who have been around cheering for the team for so long. During our good years, we talked trash to other programs and enjoyed when they had big loses. Now we're back at a low point and with that comes the same treatment we gave others.
Unfortunately, we have to deal with it. In 2004 - would you have traded all the championships we won (and a fiesta bowl win - top 10 ranking, and some first round picks), for a year where we start off 0-3 and lose to very inferior (in the case of FIU and FU) teams? I think I would.
That being said, I'm embarrassed and want some swift changes (both dc and oc need to go tomorrow in my perfect world) I'd let gol finish off season, merely as a show of respect for what he has done. Not fire him, but let him know that this will be it.
Our play calling is so bad, so frustrating but since it's so obvious to everyone who isn't a ucf coach, maybe this will be the impetus for the changes needed to take the next step. However, we've been set back for a long time, and we're going to have to weather some more painful games, like many of us grew accustomed to during the earlier years.
