...if my wife says just one more time that her Publix is better than my Publix.

Does anyone else have this problem? I routinely go to one Publix and my wife chooses another. Any time she's in mine all I hear about is how her Publix is better, the parking lot's better, the selection is better, her Publix is bigger, ad nauseum.

The latest straw was Saturday when we were driving by my Publix and we were looking for a sandwich wheel for a meeting we were having yesterday. My Publix didn't have any and all she could blabber on about was how her Publix alllllllllllwwwwwwwwaaaaaays has them.

Thank you for listening. I'll yield the rest of my time.

Time to set her straight and withhold sex.

Not really the same thing but we have a smaller Publix right across the street in Carillon and there's another bigger Publix just down 9th street. Like 5 minutes.

We like the smaller one since it's always less crowded and we get in and out easier, but there's definitely a difference in things they carry vs. the bigger one.

The best is having two Publix stores directly across from each other at 4th and 37th in St Pete. They are literally on the same intersection and across the road from one another. I have to assume that each store has loyalists that will only use "their store" and both have enough business to justify it.

From the examples you gave, it sounds like your publix is objectively worse in every way.

The closest Publix is always the best Publix.

For us the two are almost exactly equidistant. This was a point of debate early on. I told her that her Publix was farther and she said the opposite. So, I pulled up Google Maps and, lo and behold, the two are damn near exact.

Don't push it, EweSeaEff. This family controversy is not worth it.

Remember the old saying, when Mama ain't happy, ain't nobody happy. :)

Ignore shuckster. He's always wrong. There's only one thing you can do, using Wayne's Wise Words, PIIHB. She'll come around.

Well you’re getting a Topgolf close to you as well.

Walmart has free grocery pickup now. You get all the benefits of Walmart without having to go into Walmart. They carry the groceries to your car and load them and won't take tips. If I need a sub, I'll hit up Publix or if I'm drunk and want some ice cream, otherwise I'm saving 50 bucks and sitting in my car.

Carillion, between Catalina Marketing and Trans American Financial.

Oh jeez- terrible spot. Carillon is already a mess most work days as is, now they’re adding in another apartment complex by Publix and apparently want to jam a Top Golf in that vacant land down the road.

I’m guessing they plan to draw the after work happy hour crowds and corporate events like Courtside currently does, because that area is a ghost town on weekends.
