It came on after Wheel of Fortune and I was cooking dinner so I heard it. He took credit for Trump’s vaccine program, then went all authoritarian letting us know that the federal government will be happy to tell us what we can and cannot do over the next months, acted like kids being out of school had nothing to do with him and his party kowtowing to teacher’s unions, and then spewed a bunch of the political version of coachspeak. But on the bright side, he made it through the whole thing without one of his episodes so at least we have that going for us.

Biden said we'll have 100 million vaccinations in within his first 60 days in office. The President also said he now expects every adult in this country will be eligible to sign up for their vaccination shot beginning May 1 with the goal of Covid independence by July 4th.
Given the clusterf**k he inherited (only 13 million vaccinations when Trump left office) , it's nothing short of amazing how far we've come in such a short period of time.

You actually typed this and had the audacity to gaslight any of us? We were already at 1 million vaccinations per day before Trump left office. Biden didn’t really raise the velocity any more than the other two vaccines that were already on track for approval came to market. The numbers looked great but Biden trying to act like it was a CF before he took office and he magically did all this is an outright lie. Which I guess you all don’t care about anymore.
They have done a good job increasing the # of vaccines available, and that would have been the case under Trump as well. The fact there were 13 million ready to go before emergency approval was in place was in itself a miracle. Biden stepped in with better treatments in place or almost ready to be approved and 2 vaccines up and running and a 3rd one about 6 weeks out, The Biden handlers have handled it just fine.
I’m shocked that you have nothing positive to say. Regardless what and who “you” believe is responsible, we are climbing out of this mess. The economy is going to come back, we’ll be back at our jobs, and schools as well as vaccinated.

The GOP is already preparing for the economy to improve and say it has nothing to do with injecting 1.9 trillion.
This is what is going to happen: the vast Americans are for and will see all this a good. It has a 1 year life and will be put up to vote again and the GOP are being positioned to vote against it AGAIN.
Against what most Americans want and need. We are fixing the problems and getting back to where we should have been before Reagan started us down this long road of failed trickle down economics.

Eliminating burdensome and unnecessary regulations while simplifying the tax code and the other facets would better be called rising tide economics except that the tide didn’t lift all ships equally and so they pick at the ships left behind and say it failed. Meanwhile they support wholeheartedly the globalist policies that have destroyed the middle class production they act like they care so much about and dream about the mythological Socialist utopia where no one feels badly about anything. We’re destined to be yet another country to give that one a try and I hope to hell we can be successful because failure is brutal.

Let's review: It was truly an astonishing accomplishment that our scientists had approved vaccines available to the public in less than a year. As a result of his amazing feat, the first vaccine was produced, tested, approved and distributed across the country for the first round of shots in mid-December. Our government knew these these life-saving vaccines were on their way and had plenty of time to "hit the ground running." Yet like everything else about the Trump Administration -- the initial roll out was classic amateur hour.
Trump officials assured the public that "Operation WARP SPEED" (note the cool name) was ready to roll in December and we'd easily have 20 million Americans vaccinated before the new year.
So what happened? We were lucky to give over 6 million shots by the end of the year and ended up with only 13.5 million over half-a-month later when the Biden Administration took over. That's less than 260,000 a day for crying out loud. Yeah, boy, a record to be proud of, right sk8? 🙄
It's silly to say that you can hit the ground running with a vaccine that legally couldn't even be delivered to hospitals until it was approved. Were hospitals supposed to have appointments scheduled ahead of time for a shot that they had no idea would be available?
In less than 2 months we hit over a million doses per day. I don't care who the president is at the time, that's pretty impressive.

You can point to Biden's "goal" but anyone who's been paying attention would note that he's been underselling since he's been in office. (After Trump, it's WAY better to undersell than oversell to the American Public who's gotten used to hearing nothing but bullshit.) The reality is that we're now up to nearly 3 million shots a day.
The way the Trump Administration was 'handling' it, we'd have maybe gotten people vaccinated by late 2022 (depending on whether he lost interest by then or not.) We're now on track for covid independence by July 4th.
Did you even read the article? The last 3 days of his administration they were over 1 million per day. You can't even give Trump credit for getting to that level?
So he had the vaccines out months sooner than anyone said he could, and only had 13.5 million shots done in the first 6 weeks.. Starting out with few places able to even able to take the shots yet because of limited ability to ship them with proper cooling or store them if they did ship them.. Shipping companies and potential shot providers were not going to spend tons of money on coolers they didn't need otherwise to accept a vaccine that had not even gotten final emergency use approval. I give the people in charge at Biden house credit on how they have handled the roll out, But also credit Trump for pulling off what most people said was impossible by getting them out as fast as he did.

You might recall that despite a promise from the Trump administration in early January to release doses of the vaccine that it had in reserve, it was revealed that the federal government actually had lied and had NO reserve of second vaccine doses. Did you forget that? The fact that you're actually applauding their mess says a lot more about you than it does me.
In Biden's first 6 weeks, the number is 88 million -- over 6 TIMES Trump's number.
88 million in 72 days is impressive, but considering Trump was already over a million per day before that without a plan tells me Bidens plan must not be that great. A real plan would have had everybody vaccinated by now.
You do realize that there’s a ramp-up period for distributing anything like this, right? Training, logistical needs that have to be met, people have to learn where to go, how to set up the appointments, etc... The first 6 weeks were ALWAYS going to have fewer numbers than the next 6 weeks. That’s just how this works.

Yes, less than 6 million was a bit short of 20. Herculean efforts were made to get a vaccine - test it - certify it - and distribute it Yet despite the advance warning it was coming, Trump Administration was caught flat-footed with no plan. And in typical Trump fashion, he blamed the states for the slow rollout.
With all due respect , I mean that, Biden said during the election and debates that there was no vacine coming by the summer of 2021 much less the cold dark winter. I am sick of politics . Trump got stuff right and like it or not the Trump administration in coordination with the private sector developed the vaccine that Biden said 6 months ago wasn't coming. It's a sad state of affairs that people can't give a positive word about all the hard work and energy the doctors and scientists put in during 2020 under operation warp speed to help ALL Americans ,not blue or red ones. I find Biden and Fauci to be total political D bags on this issue . You can have some decency and give Trump some credit. We don't have a vaccine if not but for how Trump leveraged the government to help the private sector develop it.
You can take all the glory I suppose but that glory was built on the shoulders of men and women who made it happen in 2020.

The Trump Administration gave drug companies money -- whoopie. The fact of the matter is the first successful vaccine to go on the market was from Pfizer which was developed in Germany.
What is disingenuous, at best, is holding Trump out as some kind of savior. His inept handling of the pandemic is the reason he's down in Mar-a-logo whining to anyone who will listen about a stolen election.
