Haven't seen anyone mention this yet, other than Sir Galahad somewhat referring to this. I have lived thru seeing my parents and in-laws lose their ability to think clearly in their "golden years", and I know my own brain doesn't work nearly as well as it did 5-10 years ago. If we are allowing a 69 year-old GOL, and/or an early 70's John Hitt to make MAJOR decisions about the future of this program, and the board members are not much younger, we could be in BIG trouble! Both GOL and Dr. Hitt have huge egos, and ain't the friendliest of guys. They may convince each other that this season is no big deal. Let's hope younger thought processes prevail. (BTW - did you guys know John Hitt was an offensive lineman on the U of Maine's team? He is only a shadow of the guy who took the reins of UCF. He LOOKED like a lineman, back then.)
