C.J Jones 11 carries for 17 yards.

It's like any mediocre or worse opponent defense can just gameplan and stop anything that worked for us the week prior. We can't sustain any success on offense this year week to week.

The coaches have failed miserably at recruiting. Especially at the oline positions. That is why there needed to be a regime change. Except for some exceptions, we have very little talent overall and I see almost no talent, strength, atleticism, etc in the trench.

We stopped recruiting a few years ago. 5-6 players a year from FL will do that to a program.

our only really good rushing game was against Cinci's second and third stringers and after the game was out of reach....at this point we need to wait until a new coach reviews and critiques the players on tape (maybe he'll be better at watching tape than GOL...you know, per GOL, the eye in the sky don't lie :)).....well maybe GOL just got confused with what he was watching this past year......

anyway follow that with spring practice and the new coach will know what he has...hopefully he'll prepare us for what to expect, one way or the other...and not claim that an 0-10 team is gonna be a good one like we heard from GOL just before this season....

for the new coach, honesty will be the policy using very conservative analysis since these aren't his recruits....if we hear good things that will probably be very good!

Since 2012 8 of the 12 OL recruits we brought in have been 3* players. Not sure how you can say we haven't brought in any OL talent? They haven't developed as well as we have done in the past, not sure if it's on the kids or coaches for that.

Not calling out anyone specifically, but there are noodle arm guys running around out there. Are these players not training like the good old days?

Yep, I don't see a lot of broken tackles or guys being "run over." GOL was correct in that it's not 100% on the O-line.

Some of that is this- they are so young they haven't had the time to develop or strengthen to the point where we want them to yet. Most of them only had this past summer. They'll get there hopefully.

9 different starting lineups last year on the online and it wasn't bc of injuries. That was an ominous sign. George criticized the oline the most, saying they don't play with "grit".

I never liked Brent Key. But he at least instilled toughness in the oline.

As we all know, football teams start in trenches. A team that has given up shows it first in the trenches. Both lines gave up early in the season.

The OTs on both sides are absolutely horrible. Nearly every single play they run around the tackle on the outside and get pressure on Holman. Holman does OK when he steps up, but the OTs shouldn't be getting burned that bad.
