What is the GOP Agenda?

McConnel already said his #1 goal is to obstruct Biden and ensure he gets nothing done.

How the fuk do you support something as unamerican and undemocratic as today's GOP?

Seriously? Not just platitudes but I what do the GOP stand for? How is it reflected by the actions we’ve seen?
It's pretty impossible to define at the moment because the party is fractured. I'd say the base still stands for:

Low taxes
Small government
Austrian economics
2nd amendment
Pro-oil production
Free speech
Religious freedom
Not policing the world
Personal privacy

A border wall, for sure.

Ok so you believe they are working to realize these goals?

What is the democratic agenda besides sitting at home eating potato chips?

Time we have a real agenda that will put the country on the best path for the next 100 years
Lol, I'd say we need an agenda for the next 10 years just to make sure we survive.

-Making America Great Again.
-No Mexicans, Muslims or Colin Kaepernick.
-Defined gender roles and responsibilities.
-Flags.
-Boats and Trucks with flags.
-Not telling me what to do.
-All the guns and ammo, nobody else can have any.
-Owning the libs.
Lmao @ Colin Kaep.

There are few individuals on the planet who have triggered the right as he has. LeBron is a distant second, and he’s folking annoying AF.

I can’t believe anyone on the left embraces a guy who talks about being against racism while wearing a shirt emblazoned with the face of one of the most racist mass murderers in history.

Don't be so hard on Che. I support a lot of what he was trying to accomplish.

And I can't believe anyone on the right embracing a cop like Chauvin who claimed to follow police procedure while keeping his knee on George Floyd's neck for 9 minutes until the poor guy was dead.

I can't believe that anyone on the left would buy products from China that are made with slave labor.

Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight. 🙄

When anything and everything can be countered with a bald-faced lie, what's the point of any political discussion any more?
If you pivot the discussion to a total non-sequitor jackass response, why would you think anybody would take you seriously enough to give an honest answer?

Both parties utterly lack leadership.

The GOP has no direction.

And the Dems have people like Fauci and others lying to the point of just keeping Trump wrong.

And I've defended Fauci to this point against the GOP, but no more, he's gone full legalese political.

But the DNC scares me most because we now have state run media with the Biden administration.

And these 2 are anti-Trump reporters!!!

They are really shitty at most of those.

Sunday night CNN aired a special report on the radicalization of the GOP. It was a fascinating study which traced the evolution of the party from the Goldwater candidacy in 1964 all the way through to the Trump-inspired Capitol insurrection back in January.

Unless Trump’s legal difficulties allow Liz Chaney to somehow resurge and reset the party’s agenda moving forward, its hard to see anything good coming down the pike for Republicans on a national level.

Its one thing to believe in conservative principles, it’s a whole different deal to want to overthrow our democracy. Even some of the party’s staunchest Republicans aren’t willing to cross that line.

Would you vote for Liz Cheney if she ran against Biden or Harris in 2024?

No, but at least I wouldn't feel like our very democracy was at risk in an election involving her.
This is interesting. So you are advocating for her but wouldn't support her. It sounds like you want the other side to put up a candidate that you wouldn't support anyway.

You asked about a general election race. I would certainly support her in a primary election tussle against Trump or any of his cuckold political 'yes' men.

Call me wild and crazy but I would prefer the Republicans to put up a candidate who still supports our democracy.

They’re working on the same goal the Democrats have been working on until a few months ago. Get back in control of everything.

If you think the Dems have some big goals they’re trying to get done to make life better for the average American, you’re a bigger moron than I thought.

Lol... of course they did.

It’s sad that you don’t yet recognize that CNN is an arm of the DNC.

I havent seen the CNN thing, so I cant comment on that, but there is no question Republicans have been radicalized.

They aren't radicalized, they are just pissed off that brown people and gays are being treated like human beings now.

CNN with Cuomo is literally a DNC wing! Just like Stephanopoulos was with the Clintons prior.

At some point, journalistic integrity becomes a joke. I mean, from an anti-Trump Conservative + Liberal dual-host show...

elected GOP do not represent their voters. The modern GOP has devolved into "pwetty pweese don't call me racist" with the occasional hint of backbone.

So I assume you are libertarian like all the other spinless voters who stand and vote Republican but don’t want to admit it.

calling yourself libertarian is the ultimate cop out.

You did you cast your votes for in the last election? Not just president, but congress and senate included
