The vast majority of people that have died with covid likely would have died this year anyway. August had fewer all-cause deaths than normal, and we will probably see the same thing for the rest of the year. Essentially, we will probably see something like 30,000 deaths above normal in 2020.

The all causes of death number for August nationwide were 115% of expected and numbers are still coming in. Not sure what hillbilly blog you're reading but you are incorrect. Again.

This thread proves my point. When confronted with simple verifiable statistics on deaths and death rate they just keep going ad nauseum. they can't even accept basic math when it's presented to them. 3% of people that have tested positive for covid have died. Estimates are that there are over 10 times the number of people that have actually been infected. That makes it .3%. Only 6% of that .3% have died with no other comorbidities. That comes out to 12,000 people. That means .004% of America has died from and only from Covid. Does my math check out?

Yeah. I'm fine with that math but your analysis is dumb as hell. 300k people in America have died with pneumonia the flu or covid if you're worried about misdiagnosis that's a staggering number of flu deaths if covid is no big deal. And if you're still worried about misdiagnosis the total deaths in this country are 110% of what is expected that's a staggering number of accidental deaths. A 10% increase in total deaths from all causes is concerning to say the least. You can downplay the severity all you want but your supreme leader understood it's dangerousness. He knew it wasn't a case of the sniffles when he was recorded saying how bad it was. He also said 5 months ago that herd immunity would lead to millions of deaths.
But that was then this is now I guess.
