That is, if you lived in a dorm.

I personally was a proud resident of Hercules community in Academic Village. This was before the towers so AV was considered the best place at that time.

It was a nice place to live but it was a bitch walking from there over to communicaitons building.

Arbour Apts with a friend from high school that is gay now. And people call me a bigot...

My freshman year I lived at Collegiate Village Inn. It was where the athletes lived at the time so it was pretty cool to live around all of them.

There were only three living areas on campus when I was a student so they didn't really go by the community names like they do now. There were just the old dorms (near Millican/Admin), "newer" dorms (the four story ones), and Lake Claire.

I lived in Orange Hall my freshman year in a triple room. Sophomore and Junior years I lived in Lake Hall in a double room, but I had the room to myself the second year. Senior year lived in Northgate when it was brand new. Super senior year, lived with a friend in the nasty Arbor apartments across the street.

Honestly the dorm wasn't bad. At least not AV. It was close to the gym, basketball courts right there, close to meal plan, and you could crank the air down to 68 without having to pay for the electric bill. That was nice when you'd come in dripping wet from walking back from class.

We used to play Halo 4-way on like a 13 inch screen. I still have no idea how we did that.

Don't hate on apartment dwellers. Some good times at Sussex Place, back when it was nicer and not ghetto. Also, the ghetto apartments at Science and Alafaya. Those were always run down. But fun times.

.

Knights Krossing Phase 3 the first year it opened. Lived there for 2 years then Boardwalk for 2.

Looking back, I think it would have been cool to live in the dorms, just to branch out more and meet all different people. I lived with 3 other guys from high school so it was still fun. The big deciding factor was having my own room with private bathroom.

Knights Krossing was awesome, there would be kegs at the pool with volleyball tournaments almost every weekend.

I apologize if I peed on your car, door or stairwell. Many nights of over consumption in the ghettos.

I lived in University Village (I think that was what it was called. It looked like a run down Holiday Inn with 2 "tennis courts" aka green broken concrete. Walls were made of paneling and nothing else. I put a dart through to my neighbor's apartment one night.

I lived in Phase 2 the first year and second it opened. We lived in the very back so had to deal with listening to the contruction of Phase 3 at 7:00 in the morning.

Friends and I decided against the dorms and got an apartment instead.

Renaissance Court, directly across from Pegasus Pointe. 2 years later moved to the Village at Alafaya Club.

Knights Krossing (Pegasus Landing) ((phase three - it HAD to be phase three or no deal))
Boardwalk
Mission Bay

I went to Pegasus Landing my soph year near the front basketball courts. Not bad for a shitty college apartment I guess, but nothing redeeming about it either. Good location.

Went to Northgate after and then Tivoli.

For grad school I got the hell out of the UCF area and rented a house in Oviedo.

Alright, let's throw in a twist.

Which dorms or apartment complexes had the best parties when you were in college?
Gonna have to throw in a vote for Arbor Village. Rundown, moldy, rat-infested, but some pretty good parties.
Another vote for the fraternity houses that used to be in The Ghetto.

Good god none of these around when I was there, just old and new like one mention above. Polk, I think it was, then Seminole. Even then they where far better than UF's, visited once, what a dump.

UF has/had? awful dorms. I went to soccer camp up there and we stayed in the dorms. Two beds in maybe a 10 x 10 room and one bathroom for the entire floor. That dorm was still there in 2005 when we took a trip up there to hang out with friends. Awful living.

University House! woo! What a dump that place was. Only lasted one year before I wised up. Or was I there two?! I don't remember...

There were two phases. Unless you are thinking of those other Townhouses on University.

UCT was the best off campus housing when I got to Orlando, until Jefferson Commons opened the next semester.

We're talking about the same one. I was on Red Quill Lane, I think phase 2, at the back of the complex. It was terrible. Separate town homes with a connected attic. There was on instance of a building over that the townhome got robbed by going through the attic.

I didn't think he was. I thought he was banging one of our friends. But it hit me when he came out. She is maybe 5 ft tall and probably 200 lbs. She's a great person and I don't mean to demean her but it never crossed my mind.

My first year at Stetson was spent rooming with a gay guy. He was a nice but flakey. He used to bring in these extra large cashiers from Publix...I guess they were called fag hags or something.
