As seen with the evolution of Lt. Commander Data in the television series "Star Trek: The Next Generation", androids will be capable of developing intelligence so complex that they begin to understand human emotions and perspective. Because of the binary nature of the android mind, they will first develop a human perspective of "If it's too cold, then focus on the fact that at least it's not too hot; and if it's too hot, then focus on the fact that at least it's not too cold." This initial evolution of the android mind will result in an overall peaceful race which does not pose an existential threat to the human race, co Tracy to what Stephen Hawking wants you to believe.
