When Gus was at Auburn his main plays were screen passes and downfield bombs. He also gave us the worst offensive line in our history.

If half of that were true, Jaylon Robinson would have stayed at UCF b/c all he can do is catch bombs.
And he beat Bama 3 times. something tells me there was more to it than your gomer pyle knowledge of college football. Dude is 3-5 against the best coach in the history of college football. His one shining achievement. Thank god for that kick 6 and the miracle vs Georgia so he could make a national championship in his first season as a head coach a decade ago. At some point that goodwill wears off tho.
It's interesting that many latch on to something he did 10 seasons ago, also talking up his wins over Saban. Reminds of talking about being #2 and single wins over teams during seasons that ended without any hardware.
Think of it this way, Scott Frost is likely available soon. :0)
