where are all the true and passionate baseball posters

during basketball there are all kinds of posts about Donnie and whether or not he is the right coach etc. Not so for baseball but Coach Rooney deserves the same kind of evaluations. Maybe there are more posters involved with basketball/ BUT there are things we know.

A. Our pitching stinks
b. Coach Rooney insists on coaching the pitchers while still being head coach (impossible) The only great pitchers he has produced is that special young man that can develop on his own. The other pitchers cannot get through the first inning.
C to be kind Coach is not easy to play for. Some of his coaching style is tough to take.

Why haven't more posters commented about our future. To continue to climb is important. After 7 years we have not seen what the promise we got when he was hired,

Agree with everything you say and mentioned the very same thing about his personality with fans at Friday night's game. It's tough to take mediocrity when he has been talking ORTO since he got here. I would be willing to give him one more year if he hires a pitching coach. Although it's hard to expect big results next year with most of our position players graduating, we have to develop a staff capable of keeping us in most ballgames. With his high school pedegree, I was hoping Kyle Marsh would do big things for us on the hill and he's pitched a total of 10 2/3 innings.

Actually, we were ranting and raving all this about 2 weeks ago (not sure if you saw it). Yeah, our pitching is what killed us (IMHO)

Unless this team makes a serious run in the postseason, I think the 2016 season should be Rooney's last chance to do something with this program. So far, the results on the field under Rooney and previously under Bergman look pretty much identical.

Don't just check out the final score, if you actually looked at the stats you would see how many errors we had. You would notice that 5 runs were unearned!! Our pitching allowed 5 earned runs and out hitting got us 5 runs. Check out the stats and stop complaining about the pitching!

I think the truth is it's been a little bit of pitching and hitting that's at fault, but I'll agree with you this way: Cre Finfrock has gotten zip for run support. That guy's win-loss record would be better if our batters were giving him something more to work with. Terry Rooney himself has pointed to the problem with the lack of run support.

It is a combination, that's why it's a "team sport". It's frustrating to repeatedly hear people complain about out pitching and pitching coach. The truth is, our pitching has been improving, but out hitting is on a decline. We were awesome and ranked during our OOC games, but lost our ranking during conference play. Here are the stats I broke down to compare the two:

31 non-conference games- batting .319; pitching 5.11 ERA

22 conference games- batting .267; pitching 3.98 ERA

53 total- batting .298; pitching 4.65 ERA

you must be kidding me..we have one and sometimes two pitchers. We get bombed in first few innings..I do not think you are watching UCF play..
