Where Can I Find Free Wifi On/Near Campus?

I have to drop my kid off to FC Barcelona soccer camp next week at UCF. I need to find a close by spot with free wifi for the majority of the day to get work done. Any suggestions would be great.

Panera has been doing Wifi caps (30min) during peak hours like lunch and breakfast. So I wouldn't make Panera your only outlet. If you have Bright House/Spectrum there are a bunch of free wifi hotspots around that area.

There is also the UCF_Guest Network (http://www.cst.ucf.edu/about/telecommunications/network-services/wireless-for-ucf-guests/) It is pretty restricted to just web browsing/email/streaming. So if you need to do FTP or access other secure ports you'll be SOL.

Campus free WiFi is sometimes iffy. (Could try Dunking Donuts in am in village then move over to Burger U when they open at 11 am.

No clue what their summer or weekend hours are....one could check that out too.

Just go sit in one of the sorority houses. Tell them you are just waiting for your kids to get out of whatever made up camp you were talking about. I don't see why there would be a problem.
