I have heard this mentioned in passing that this may be one of our biggest wins in program history. Here is my list in reverse Chronological order. I probably have the Florida game lower than some (no better than #13), but being a pre-Christmas lower tier bowl I don't think of it as a program defining win.

2018 Conference Championship game (great comeback, they were destroying us)
2017 Peach Bowl (National Champions)
2017 Conference Championship game (overtime nail biter)
2017 USF thriller (one of the Top 10 games of the year on everybody's list at the time)
2014 Fiesta Bowl (our first B12 Championship...LOL)
2013 at Penn St (against 100,000 fans)
2013 at Louisville (can still see that red head girl's face in agony)
2010 Georgia in Liberty Bowl
2007 First Conference Championship game win
2000 at Alabama
1988 Noise game vs Troy St (set an attendance record that stood for years)
1987 First playoff win against IUP (still think Ford ran out of bounds)

2021 Against Florida (wore them out in the trenches)

I think the 21 point comeback against not only '13 Loserville, but the '21 Boise State game are worthy of this list. Have we forgotten that one already?

On my list no it was just one G5 beating another G5....good win but not program altering. There was nothing at stake.

Our BCS/NY6 wins will always be at the top for the attention we got out of them.

#1 vs Baylor in Fiesta Bowl
#2 vs Auburn in Peach Bowl

Then wins vs brand name "Power" teams

#3 Penn St at their place in front of their 100,00 fans.
#4 Alabama for our first signature win
#5 Florida in the Gasparilla Bowl

After that the historical significance of any one game is not that big of a deal.

Even loss against LSU is up there for me. Still a big game even if we lost.

If you think of UCF and Boise as 2nd class "g5" programs then you're no better than sec faux elitist saying Vandy is better than half of the FBS.

I honestly don't know how any UCFan can be so disparaging of oneself and similar successful programs.

I did not use the term 2nd class. Your lack of reading comprehension is frightening.....every post you make is like that....you better hide your usf degree.

G5 is the term you used and it's designed to describe a 2nd class status in FBS. I don't use those pejorative

I really think it's SAD* when people use terms that have held them back. Every real UCFan should know this by now.

You can say whatever you think, but don't add your rhetoric to my postings and imply I meant it.

As a team that is recognized as a top level G5 team...and better than 50% to 60% of "Power"5 teams, we are expected to at least be competitive with (if not beat) top level G5 teams.

That's why the Boise St game this year does not really stand out for me...especially since Boise St was not even in the MWC Championship Game this year.

It is also why I did not list either the 2017 or 2018 AAC Championship games. They were great wins...but we were generally expected to win them.

It's certainly was worth a new Billboard that is now up in Gainesville with ROK signaling: Peace Out to Otis and the Gators.
