Random question. I just saw a younger sibling of my friend move almost exactly into my old dorm room in Hercules/Academic Village. It was pretty awesome for a dorm (in 2003) but the newer ones look even better.
Same.Seminole Hall
Maybe my memory is foggy, but I didn't think freshman could get into lake claire when it first opened.Brand new Lake Claire Apts. for my first two years.

I remember some friends moving into Riverwind when it was brand new and super nice except there was barely any parking and you had to walk down Alafaya from the vacant lot they purchased for overflow parking.
Are we talking when JC opened in, what, late fall 99?Transfer:
Holiday Inn Select until my apartment at Jefferson Commons was ready. Survived the partying in Jefferson Commons for two years and then moved to RiverPark for a year.
Correct. Are we talking when JC opened in, what, late fall 99?
A palm tree?Osceola Hall...that year was fun as hell...some guy dug up a sago palm from somewhere on campus and planted it in our planter in front of my dorm room...I remember my GA yelling I am not your momma repeatedly at everyone...
After the first year I lived in Lake Claire until I graduated
Correct.
Yes but a sago isn't really a big tree. Only about 3 feet high.A palm tree?
Damn. That beats out the time my friend moved a picnic table (by himself) into the common area of his dorm (possibly Lake/Polk).

Sounds like a BB gun to me. I still shoot them but we use MAPP gas and oxygen. It sounds like a real cannon firing but sometimes the potato breaks apart before exiting the barrel. They started off with a pneumatic gun for the class and ended up with one that used hairdos and could shoot half a potato over osceola hall from the roof of the parking garage.
