I know I sound like a broken record, but I still don't understand why it's so rare to find UCF Nike items in places outside of the UCF Bookstore.
Over the past few months, the only places I've seen Nike items were a random independent store in the Florida Mall and the new Dick's at Florida Mall. Other Dick's locations didn't have any. Academy Sports has Nike polos for UF and FSU, but not UCF. For years, Dillards has carried the full yearly Nike lines for UF/FSU (polos, shirts, hats, etc.), but never UCF. A few years ago, Bealls had a decent selection for UCF (but never Nike) but those days are long gone.
Yeah, the Nike polos are like $75-80, but most fans have an obsession with the Swoosh.
So today, with no afternoon practice to attend, I headed west and hit one of the only Bealls in the area (West Altamonte/Apopka). I always knew they carried Nike stuff yearly for UF/FSU, and it's a couple weeks before the season, so maybe they had a decent selection of UCF stuff.
Nope. It's all about the "Big Three."
Gator stuff everywhere.
And FSU.
Miami is an Adidas school now, but four Nike polos to choose from.
UCF wasn't completely ignored, as they had $45 generic polos (Chillwear?). Not bad - at least somebody understands the concept of displaying a prominent stacked logo.
Then they had this bronze, rust colored thing.
Upon exit, I saw a bunch of socks. $14.
These photos were left in my phone. Random stuff from the Altamonte Cracker Barrel. 80% UF, 20% UCF.
