Who is worse Key or Bresnahan?

Because neither one of them are capable of winning on a regular basis, they keep handing the trophy back and forth on a week to week basis, just to keep us all guessing. This weeks trophy holder is Key with a whopping 134 yards total offense (congratulations Coach Key). Btw, while balance on offense is generally a good thing I don't think 67 yards rushing, and 67 yards passing is what people had in mind.

Hands down Key. The D is usually good for 2-3 quarters which is impressive given that the offense can't string two first downs together on a drive and they're constantly on the field.

They can hide the crap in percentages to dummies. 50-50 balance looks great unless you have the content :)

We're a "ball control offense" and we rank #113 in time of possession. We have, by any measure, the worst rushing offense in the nation. THE WORST. The second worst rushing offense in the nation averages 30 more yards per game than us, so it isn't even remotely close. We average less than 2 yards per rush, which is almost impossible to do unless you run a QB sneak every play (which might actually end up netting you more than 2 yards per play). We make up for the poor rushing attack with the #123rd (5th worst) ranked passing attack in passing efficiency statistics. No progress has been shown through the 7 games on offense. There are no excuses or circumstances that adequately explain being this degree of bad a decade into a coaching regime.

The defense has been good enough to win 3-4 games by now if they weren't saddled with the most incompetent offense known to man.

Brent Key all year. Coach Bresnahan had the unfortunate task of being a DC on two different teams with horrible offenses. It makes me wonder how would he have done if he was the DC of last years squad.

It's the players...

Key is the absolute worst at his job in all of FBS. The defense has actually had a couple of good games until they got tired after the countless 3 and outs by our crappy offense.

Key by far. Bresnahan has had some nice moments calling some good blitzes and the D has generally kept us afloat despite our young secondary. The lack of pass rush by the D-line is all about recruiting.

No exaggeration whatsoever. I've never seen offensive ineptitude like this.
There are a variety of causes, but it starts at O-line recruiting IMO. Absolutely no athletism whatsoever. I think it's a lack of South Florida recruiting in this area first and foremost
Hire Godfrey.
