My gurss is FAU and FIU. They were the first to be added by CUSA when they had to reload. And let be honest, no good exciting teams are in the Midwest.

Maybe Marshall. Possibly one of the better MAC schools. FAU and/or FIU could work.

FIU has literally high school attendance. It would be a giant step backwards adding them. ODU, Southern Miss, umass, and Marshall are options. Although terrible options.

I guess it would depend on who the Big 12 took. If it was Cincy and UCF, I could see the AAC backfilling with NIU and FAU/FIU. If Cincy and Memphis, then probably NIU and MTSU/WKU. I could also see UTSA in the mix if the AAC wanted to complete the Texas triangle.

I would think their first choice would be getting Army. As for anyone else, its a big drop off. I'd add to the others that have been mentioned: Georgia State or Georgia Southern.

To me, it doesn't make sense to have three teams in Florida. So unless either UCF or USF is one of the two teams to leave, and I serously doubt that the Big 12 would select both, I don't see both FIU and FAU. Perhaps one, but not both. I like Marshall and Army from a geographic standpoint, unless Houston is selected by the Big 12, then one of those two and either Louisiana Tech or Southern Miss.

Wasn't Southern Miss the school with the football team that was just disbanded and then reinstated? I would be afraid to take them just from a stability stand point, not to mention that they lost all their good players so will probably suck for at least the next couple years.
