Why does the Navy game start at 11am?

Oregon St and Arizona State is after us at 2:15. Then a 5:30 game on ESPN2. Some odd times. Not sure why.

It is an odd start time for sure. I guess tailgating is bacon and eggs this Saturday! before the time change it would have been a nooner. So now they have to fall back one hour. .

I didn't see this post, think I'll post another. 11 am is just weird, or are we in London and nobody knew.

Obviously driven by ESPN, and I'm willing to bet 6 weeks ago they didn't plan on televising this game. Some media guy said they wanted to get some quad headers going in the last couple of weeks of the season.

they claim Aresco has nothing to do with this but then I noticed Cinci’s last Home game is at Noon Black Friday in a crucial game vs Tulane ….it will effect their attendance and noise level

Not a big fan of the kick time, but it finally lets us get our 4 kids (ages 3-9) to their first UCF game so we will not complain that much. It is going to be crazy in Section 235 😎😎😎
Took my infant to UCF games 20 years ago when we lived west of Orlando (some skunk city, in Largo). Was great. The section we were in were wonderful UCF fans. Loved it.

We can thank ESPN for the odd start time. UCF had nothing to do with it. It's all part of the media rights contract that ESPN has with the AAC which gives them total control over days and start times.
