Why doesn't UCF do this?

Sell equipment to the public. The black helmet sale was over in a matter of minutes, so there's definitely a demand. I know the dept. is cash strapped, but if a wealthy program like Ohio State is holding a sale on equipment, I see no reason why UCF can't do the same.
