Why Southern Miss so hard to beat

Every game, they shoot 15 to 20 more free throws and are great shooters at the line at home. They do that to everyone. Like other opponents, UCF had 6 more field goals, more 3 pointers, more steals, and even more blocks. UCF shot a better percentage from the field, too (much higher than USM's normal defense allows).

Alot of those free throws were on crap fouls, too, where the guards were out of control diving to the hoop and our guys lost discipline and hacked down. The refs bailed out the USM guards a bunch in this last game.

They're so hard to beat because they have 4 guys averaging double figures. They're an all around good team, with no go-to-guy to defend. They're the best team we've played all year.
