My company's external CPA for both audit and tax work is retiring at the end of this year. He sold to a larger firm a few years ago, and they were acquired by a PE firm last year. Their fees have gone through the roof, and they haven't really presented me with a good succession plan, so I'm opening this up for bid.
Our needs include:
Audit
We are looking for a small to mid-size, local firm based in Orlando. We are relationship driven and want to be able to meet face-to-face with our providers. We're not looking for a firm that has sold to private equity, or plans to.
Work could start as early as this summer (401k audits) or fall (individual tax planning).

- 3 annual audits (gross receipts only–not full financial statements)
- 2 annual 401k plan audits
- 3 annual partnership tax returns (Forms 1065, F-1065, 8804, DR-405, depreciation schedules)
- A few of our LLC members will also be looking for new providers for their personal tax work (1040's and tax planning, with multiple K-1s, 8805s and foreign taxable income)
